Working cows

This is something we don't see much anymore: cows helping to work the fields. You can see scenes like this all around Jinmen.

The soil is poor and technology undeveloped, so besides for peanuts and sorghum, not much grows well on the island. There's an idyllic charm to this picture, but I recognize that this sentimentality comes from a visitor rather than the local residents.
