Some Christmas pictures...

Happy New Year to you all!
Noah, together with his brother, parents, and grandparents, enjoyed a nice and cozy 6th birthday and Xmas. Some of our activities included a visit to the famous Ben's Chili Bowls on U Street, nice meals at home (from Italian to Chinese, all simplified from the original festive traditions of these cultures!), a second visit to the Botanical Gardens to see the train display, two nice lunches out, a walk in the park, and much time enjoying the unusual warm weather.

Not this cute anymore...

On a recent drive to school, I told Ben how much I love him.

Ben: "When I growed up, are you going to still love me?"

Mama: "Of course!"

Ben, with a concerned look" "But... I won't be this cute any more..."

Tail and tutu?

Ben saw a wedding of our wedding tonight. He brought it to Paul and said, with that curious look, "I like mama better because she has a tail on her head and a tutu."

He either misheard veil as tail, or really thought it was a tail on my head!

My baby lost his tooth

Noah got his first baby tooth pulled out today at the dentist... A tiny tooth, followed by a huge (three times wider) permanent tooth lurking from behind.

Still remember the day that tooth first came out, when he was four months old. Now it's time to welcome the next set of teeth!
