Having just signed the rental lease with our tenant, our upcoming move is becoming real! Besides Benjamin, all three of us are very excited about leaving our home in Arlington to live in Taiwan for a year. I am constantly wondering whether it's going to feel like going home, or visiting a place away from home. In either case, Paul is the one that will have the foreigner's experience this time. I think that will be very good for our relationship and for us to have new things to discuss, something that's supposed to be important in a healthy marriage. So, here we are, getting ready for a year of adventures in Taiwan. Here we go--Happy Mother's Day, Sylsyl. How are your boys treating you?
Did you get my previous attempts to post? Sorry that the rest of your low-tech family is just trying to catch on, but we will soon! I just fixed bama's computer by unchecking the box "mute" in the volume--they have been complaining about the computer's silence for a while now.
It's my 32th Mother's Day and your 3rd already? It's amazing that we're sharing the same great day!
shin came home and is going to cook for me and ayi a big Mother's Day meal. We'll be having two salads - one Western and one Asian, clam pasta and snapper. She used all recipes you gave her. She carries it to everywhere she goes.
It's so cool that you have your own blog!
