We've spent lots of time in the backyard, with Paul tending to his beloved garden (my focus is on the eatable items, which are doing quite well). During Nana's visit, we got some more plants and the whole family got busy planting. Each of the boys got some ornamental grass to plant. It's fun to see them get dirty with their fingers and bodies. The last picture is taken in front of the Washington Monument, which we are going to pay a visit to this evening :) Sometimes it's fun pretending to be a tourist in your own town.
