A new daily ritual

I would have never imagined the one benefit of having majored in piano performance: Every night, after kissing the boys good-night, I am requested to play a piano piece downstairs while they settle into sleep. Whatever I play, and however I play it (usually not that well!), at the end of each piece I get a trickle of applause from their bedroom. Just the most heart-warming thing you can imagine :)
